How do we know that we are right for each other? What happens if we are not compatible? Is it normal to have doubts? Do we have a realistic view of married life?


When we are contemplating marriage, these may well be some of the questions that we are asking ourselves. Such questions must be faced honestly.

On this website we list seven tests of love which are designed to reveal whether we have the foundations upon which to build a strong marriage. These tests will show not only if we are right for each other but also if we are ready for marriage. Marriage must be based on more than infatuation. Feelings of ‘in loveness’ will not sustain a marriage for a lifetime. Infatuation wears off but these following seven aspects of love can grow stronger over the years.
